Hans Zimmer, one of the most Talented Music Directors of all time, the most talented of our time.

For any movie, background music is one of the most crucial factors that make the movie more effective.

Remember Titanic theme music, whenever we listen we automatically get images of Leonardo de Caprio and Kate Winslet and suddenly we get the entire story in our minds also important movie scenes including the climax, background music carries such a power with them that brings our minds to the particular movie, just after hearing them.

Today we will talk about a person whose work has made millions of people dance, cry, and laugh, let’s talk about laughing first, remember Jack Sparrow’s character in Pirates of the Caribbean movie? We all know it has a lot of comedy scenes in it.

Hans Zimmer

Our mind stored these scenes for the longest time period only because of their music.

I am sure you remember the climax Scene in The Dark Knight where dogs were chasing Batman, we all agree that the scene gave us goosebumps, but without music or with average music it would have been less effective.

What we discussed above were just examples of some of the movies, there are many movies which has very effective music in them Inception, Gladiator, interstellar the list is long.

We are talking about Hans Zimmer, the legendary background music composer, two times Oscar winner, and numerous nominations and other awards.

Zimmer was also named on the list of Top 100 Living Geniuses, published by the Daily Telegraph in 2007

He is the head of the film music division at DreamWorks Pictures and DreamWorks Animation studios and works with other composers through the company that he founded, Remote Control Productions.

He was born in Germany and then he settled down in the United States.

Zimmer is the favorite man of Christopher Nolan and collaborated with him in movies like Inception, Batman trilogy, Interstellar, etc

Zimmer’s masterpieces of background movies come from not only his hard work but also from his unique style of scoring.

His studio is a collection of innovative musical devices, and he often sits in front of high-end computers where he works on every bits and pieces of music.

He understands each character very deeply and scores according to those characters, this extreme depth of character understanding makes the movie highly effective.

While composing the score of Interstellar, Nolan did not tell Zimmer’s story of Interstellar, he just asked Zimmer to create background music for a story of a father leaving his child for an important task, of course it was a task of saving the world, Nolan told him only two dialogues, “I’ll come back” and “when” Nolan then asked Zimmer to spend one day composing some musical interpretations of the story.

Zimmer spent that night composing and writing a four-minute piano and organ piece that expressed the idea of fatherhood.

When Nolan heard this piece he was so excited and happy that he told Zimmer an entire story of Interstellar movie.

The same piece can be heard at the end of the movie, Nolan has said that this piece is the heart of the movie.

Zimmer later said that Interstellar is his best work of his entire career.

While creating the soundtrack for The Dark Knight, Zimmer said the original theme was introduced at the end of Batman Begins, he also said that he intentionally created a complex theme so that viewers can not hum that track and so it would not lose its complexity of Batman’s Character, we all know how dark character of batman is Hans Zimmer is responsible for that.

Another important character was Joker, who almost won the race with Batman, Zimmer was the man who made it look more effective

The nine-minute suite for the Joker (“Why So Serious”) was based around two notes played by an electric cello, solo violin, guitars, and a string section. Zimmer compared its style to the band Kraftwerk, who come from his native Germany, as well as his work with bands like The Damned
